Is this guy serious? He will pay you $300/month if you make him $50/day?

I was just stumbling on Freelancer.com and I found what has got to be, without a doubt, a crazy submittion.

    A guy posted this.

    http://www.freelancer.com/projects/Internet-Marketing-Telemarketing/profitable-website-day.html

Let me get that straight, he wants you to make HIM a website with everything on it, making $50 a month and he will pay you $300 a month to do that. Now, you do everything and let him take the profits from the ads and all he does is give you a cut when at the end of the day, you could keep that site to yourself.

$50 a day mate is nearly $1500 a month and he only gives you $300?

The funniest thing is PEOPLE are actually bidding. What in earth is this world coming to. Seriously.

People will bid certainly because they want some upfront payment and they run away from project by taking some amount. Most of the bidders are spammers only.

I buy and sell on there and there are loads of companies that simply bid on anything and everything and then if they get a reaction look at what the project actually is.
You get to recognise the names and style after some time.

These guys look like they don't get it and never will, plenty of those about.
If you ever get stuff done on a site like this always go with someone who's done a few projects ( at a decent price as well )
trying out newcomers just isn't worth the hassle.

    Yeah.

Still, it isn't worth it. He is asking for you to do ALL the work just to make him some money, and you get a return because you built the site and gave it him. Why give it him? You'd rather keep the additional $1200 that he'd be getting.

And those people who bid on every job, if this one got accepted, they would pretty much be screwed and then some.

There are some situations where something like this is a valid proposition,

let's say you know of a way to make some money from a website,
but it involves sitting in front of your PC 4 hours a day waiting for something to happen, at a moment in time that happens to be the middle of the night for you.

Not very appealing is it. You could hire someone as staff but obviously that costs a chunk of your profit and you still run the risk of making nothing and having to pay the staff.

The alternative to set it up for someone else and take part of the profit as payment could be a fair way to go...

i'll let y'all know when i think of something :D

He's bringing nothing to the table. You do all the hard work, and he'll take the commission and keep the site.
No matter how or where you spin the table, it's not beneficial the slightest for anyone other than scammers who will run away with his money before they do any work.

And, also, it's probably not even worth the scammers because he wants you to earn the money before he gives YOU the cut.
It's so crazily stupid and wierd it scares me.

It doesn't say you have to run the site, just create it.
( and it doesn't have to be hard work, depends what it is )
