SEO tools for reviewing your website.

I am in search of a SEO tool that can provide initial analysis of any website as per SEO perspective. The tool should provide the possible reason of why a site is not doing well as far as optimization is concern.

It should show the faulty areas of my website, the backlinks that my website has, the PR , the keyword density, HTML errors etc.

    I usually use webceo.com (they've got a free version)
    Google webmaster - www.google.com/webmasters
Along with a couple of seo plugins for my browsers (firefox & chrome)

Ah yes, the magic SEO tool that does all the SEO for you... It doesn't exist!

There are no lazy tools that will tell you why sites aren't ranking particularly well, only experience and an understanding of SEO will help you reach those conclusions.

It's entirely up to you which tools you use in your SEO toolbox and then use whichever suit you on a per-job basis but, like dropgear, I'd use Google Webmaster tools plus Chrome's dev tools, those Firefox plugins and also some greasemonkey scripts, plus I'd consider input from Analytics, DP Keyword Tracker, Google search operators, some SEOBook tools, some SEOMoz tools...

Thanks for you feedback. I know that self analysis is the best analysis, but there for that analysis you need to have some statistical data, like keyword density, pr, backlinks, meta tag relevancy etc. Now based on this statistics we do our analysis with our logic. So if some tool can implement this logic into reality by parsing those data and can display the outcome then it will be termed as SEO TOOL.

I am just asking that so any one of you have any knowledge of existence of such a tool ?

These tools are better to use as your guide because you can check out the site and analyse it further through your own site analysis (SEO perspective).

I don't think any tool can replace the human touch, there are tools to make life easier and jobs quicker. I just use seo tools for checking rankings, optimization checks, speed checks and that kind of thing.

+1 for google webmaster as a starting point. It tells you what you are ranking for and if you have any errors that have been detected by the spiders.
