Will you have dinner with me?

I was having dinner with a few friends. There were 2 Chinese, 1 Japanese, 1 Spanish and 1 Italian. The Spanish girl mentioned that her father will never sit on this dinner table because there are Asian on the table (she mentioned her dad is very old fashion and closed minded)


I just wonder if you found any problem having dinner with people from different country

 

I'm an Asian and I've had no problems dining with people from other races or religions.

 

No if you are careful with the prior arrangements you will prevent any problems on the day

 

I said no.

Not because I have any issues with Asians but more because I would be a bit tenious to sit down with a guy who just finished reading Maxim magazines for 14 hours

 

another question. I know christian they prey before dinner (not sure about other religion). However, since i don't believe in any religion, i won't do what they do. (i will wait for them before i start eating). Will you be piss off by me if i don't pretend that i am preying?

 

I'm not opposed to having dinner with Asians. Some of my best friends are Asians.

So my decison would be based on the individual's actions and character.

Not at all, I cannot remember the last time I went for dinner and they prayed before, and I am a christian

Just pretend you're prAying. Many people do care and it's a sign of respect for you to join in.

I don't, but virtually every race of people has assholes in them. Although my whole opinion on welcoming-in and being tolerant of difference are two different concepts.
