I've submitted the same article to several sites in the past and never saw a penalty. I didn't really go overboard with one article though. How many different article directories were you planning to send it to?
No dear, you can submit the same article to 30-40 article directories. After that change the article and again you can submit it to all those directories. You will get good backlinks and PR from good article sites. I am working in a software development company providing e-business, e-marketing and internet marketing services. Sometimes, it is OK indeed. However, just as you have said above, it may lead to spam. If you have many high-quality content and articles, it is really unnecessary to post one article to different article submission sites.

For me I think submitting same article on different websites is not spam. I think there's an exception on duplicate content on article directories.
Yes you can submit 1 article to 30-40 article sites, this won't make any difference. Even i am doing the same but remember one thing, author of article must be same for all directories to make it copyright.
No Dear you can't submitted same article in many article directories. We have to only use sticky 2 article directories only to get solid result.
if u have good quality article content you can submit to other article directory as well(don't confine yourself to 2) (High PR)
Just don't overdue it. Send in a bunch of course but make sure you do it smart. Add your backlinks in and just send in as much as you want (within reason). bottom line. You'll be fine just don't overdue it.

You can sub articles to as many sites as you want as long as they are coherent and provide something useful to the reader. Your site will not get penalized because the same article appears in many article sites, this is also why news/press release/blogs don't get penalized if someone else grabs their content and syndicates it somewhere else...
Some article websites do not allow duplicate content, such ezinearticle. But most article websites don't have that limitation.
no problem bro, go ahead with it, but dont go for softwares which are submitting to 600 to 700 sites den you may get banned for spamming.
You can submit one article on many article directories but that is not the ethical ways because search engines will see it as content spam.
To have a much better result try to re-write or spin your articles before you submit it to different directories.
This would not be counted as "Spam". However, the more websites spread, the less value that article would provide in terms of link building. It is a cheap way by use one article submission repetitive again and again but that's not worth it. I would recommend to submit only a few quality article directories instead of a bunch of low quality. Quality does matter over quantity as always.
This is not correct .... If you want to say that you are submitting the same article in 2 directories rather than 30-40 quality article directories, it means we both are doing the same thing i.e copied content.... But it's not ... because article directories are specially made for this purpose... 1 article per 2 directores doesn't make any sense....It just a big burden on content writers... nothing else...Content is the king but use it intelligently.
