Hi, I am looking at ways to monetize my facebook fan page. It is currently having over 1.7 million fans and very active. Can I put some ads on the page to monetize? I do not want to promote scammy links and products.
Generally with a fan base that size, you don't own the page's content. Could you link the fan page here so I could take a look at it?

There are a lot , and i dio mean a lot of ways to monetize this fanpage..1,7 million fanpage should make you around 200-1k a day .. if you are smart if you need more instructions.. Pm me
Well he can PM me the link. You go advertising on a page that the content is not his (Such as the fan pages for "cookies" or "that's what she said"), posting rights will get removed. Then the page will be completely worthless.
It's difficult to when you have a fan page with content like that. Sure you can do it for a little bit, but Facebook will stop you as soon as they get spam reports (which is technically what that is seeing as it is in no way related to the fan page). You could try advertising sites that relate to the content of the fan page. For instance, on a "I like cookies" fan page, you could advertise sites for bakeries and pastry shops. However, I'm not entirely certain if that will work. To answer your question, there isn't a lot of ways if the content is not specifically yours (if any legally). That is not to say you can't sell the fan page. I am NOT certain if selling fan pages is against Facebook's Terms so attempt that at your own risk.
