Is my blog name against googles terms of service since it has the word youtube in it. P.S i have seen other websites that also have the word youtube in them and they seem fine.
It is absolute copyright infringement without a doubt. However, there are many ones doing like you so it would take a lot of times to got them all. "Other websites" are still fine by doing this but it does not mean you could be fine in a long run as well. They are just under the radar anyway.
Yeah, if you try to make money using their name your violating copyright. Even if you weren't trying to make money you're violating copyright.
On even a slightest of the visibility, you would be giving google a good excuse to remove your blog... from its fold. Big companies do not take kindly to copyright infringement... especially if it is by their smallest customers! Regards, RightMan
If you are really violating any rules that is written in their TOS then a lot can happen. First, your blog wouldn't appear in Google Search results. Second, they have the right to ban your blog (Though, I only have seen after a co-worker post inappropriate content in his blog). Wordpress is much stricter when it comes to their rules especially in blogs made for advertisements or affiliates (the free version anyway)
I think as you have a blog its no problem that you have used of Youtube name on it. But if you had a domain, it could hurt your site but its not proved yet.
