I just made a digg account and i just posted my blog to digg.

Does this significantly get views, or do i have to build up a fanbase on digg first?

 

You need to have a good reputation and fanbase in Digg to get votes and views for your posts.

 

A new user does not have a big impact on digg.com and to get alot of views ur links needs to be getting say 200 diggs a day on the particular article/video to get popular.

U will need alot of freinds and fans and a digg button on ur website for starters.

 

What they have said is true, but...it also depends on the quality of your blog. All it takes is one good blog post to generate some serious traffic. Concentrate on creating good content and keep bookmarking your new entries.

 

you wont get anything out of digg until you have some decent fan base to digg your post atleast 200 to get traffic out of digg...

Do you just submit lots of popular articles?

 

To get popular on Digg it is very useful to have a fan base ready and willing to Digg your posts. To get a fanbase legitimately you would need to be submitting several quality posts. Takes some time to get there but hard work can make Digg work for you.
