What are the reasons for PayPal being limited ?

Hi PayPal users,

I think many of the PayPal accounts are being limited in the last 6 months. I want to know the reasons due to which PayPal accounts goes limited.

Please, share your thoughts here about this, so that everyone can know the mistakes that occurs while making a transaction.

Maybe their paypal accounts have been hijacked

 

Paypal is known after about 3 to 6 months to limit the account. Sometimes it's for money coming into the account to fast or for other reasons. They limit a lot of accounts you just have to give them what they ask for any they will lift the limit.

 

Paypal is taking more care about their accounts. It is good for genuine users.

 

I think Paypal accounts are being limited because Paypal is taking care of its customers money.

 

There are so many reasons they limit your account. If they find unusual activity, Login from different IP''s etc...

 

I think it can't be possible.

 

Login from different IPs for the "same country" or "different country" ?

 

But many innocent Paypal customers are been harassed due to this. What about that ?

 

Does doing many transactions cause account to limited? I mean how many transactions I can do in one month?
If my account is verified, it can decrease possibility of being limited?

 

My account just got limited.
This is despite submitting drivers license and my taxation information
now, they want more residential address proof?
why don't they come to my home and verify me physically??

 

Fax them your "Electricity Bill" as an address proof.

 

I think many Paypal accounts got limited because of only personal payment to send and receive.

 

i already have experience on this...if u're a legal user...i mean with legal credit card so there's nothing to be worry...i just scanned my utilities bill, driver license and front page of bank statement, then uploaded to them...i also sent a message to inform about i already take action regarding to the problem...

then 2 days later...my account already came back to normal...so no worry at all...

but if u use vc for paypal...fake name or address...than u'll be in trouble...so just be a legal person...LOL!

 

Also paypal is not available for all countries so why is so?

 

Paypal is used alot for online business and they have many customers so they do care. I guess this is the only reason they limited the account

 

Any thing suspicious , they cant afford.
