Info on the PageRank Update

A lot of people have seen their website go to pagerank 0 in the last few days and this is an indication of a pagerank update soon. I personally don't think the update has happened yet because I haven't seen any new PR for any sites (except for a lot of pages being zeroed).

You can check your PR from multiple datacenters here: http://www.rapidsitecheck.com/ so someone please tell us if they see a change where their site doesn't got to 0 and back.

Again, as posted on http://techgeeks-online.com/2010/2010-summer-pagerank-update/ you don't have to worry about losing or gaining rankings because our toolbar updates are only a snippet of what the PR is in that moment in time when it was updated.

Well was your PR originally 3? Then it went to 0? Then it went back to 3?

This same scenario happened to a lot of pages (even my own site). We haven't seen a website go from their old PR to anything but 0 and then back to their old PR :)

That's what I'm saying. The actual update couldn't have happened yet because everyone who saw a change just saw their PR go to 0 and then back up to their old PR.
