    hi all,

recently I found out that link position impacts your cpc

the first adense ad placed on the page have highest cpc comperated to the others.

    my question is:

I have an horizontal link unit

then a large rectangle ad unit

does this mean that the link unit links has highest cpc compared to my large rectangle ad unit?

or does the rank applies to link units and ad units seperately?

    thank you

It may be more helpful if you posted a link to the referenced site for a look

Your right, the first AdSense code that appears in your source code is given priority. If you find that a particular "ad unit" gets more clicks, then its best to have that ad units code appear first.
Whether link units and ad units are treated different, I'm not sure... Good question. I suggest you ask over at Google's AdSense forum, you may get an official answer from Google... (Or someone here may post a link to an official source that answers the question... if there is one).

    Cheers
