I wonder will linkwheel still value to the eye of Google? I plan to promote my blog through it but i dont think it works now! Anyone recommend me ?
Of course. The only problem is linkwheel idea is this. You are essentially building up other peoples websitse (hubpages) then linking to yourself. There are ways to skip a step here. You don't need to build up other websites to get backlinks, but if you have the patience or an ultra competitive niche, "becoming the internet" then linking back to yourself will work...just the ROI might not be there compared to article writing, blog commenting and other "direct" methods of getting back links.
Yeah linkwheel is still alive and it works like a charm.Make small linkwheels around 5-10 spokes.Target only web2.0 property.
Link wheels have worked like charm for me and my clients. You should know how to do them, that is where liew the key to get good results....
The important part is to make them as random as possible. It's easy for Google to find common patterns when you always link between the same web 2.0 properties, with the same anchor text and the same number of outbound links.
Link wheeling works, but you have to do it a certain way, the old way will only get you in trouble with Google.
I do everything ^_^ no matter it is wheel or village method. Just do what ever I know when I'm free is it ok with google??
I have tried link wheels but didn't find them to work. I tried different methods, pyramids, broken wheels, random links etc on many (20+) web 2.0 properties. I think that you are far better off getting high relevance, quality links. Do guest posting and offer articles to high PR authority domains in your niche. /jeremy
