Ways to profitize a movie review website?

    Hello,
    www.newreleasewall.com
    I am trying to build a new niche into my general movie review website niche that is too competitive. I now want to offer in my website a means to make money just for writing content. Very simple;

    You register, edit your profile and then immediately submit a movie review/content.

    By doing so you gain points or by referring new members to the site.

    Those points can be converted into real Ca$h using PayPal.

    !!!! I now need another means of profitting this website in order to make this work. Does anyone have any suggestions because my first idea was to hide a movie of the week to stream and watch through my site that is from megavideo by trying to hide that they are hosting it. Like a pay a few $ and watch the movie through my site sort of thing which is only half legal :S.
    Any good solid suggestions to profit this that will work? I have more plans for this website and I am building landing page and working on design!

    Hmm, half legal seems a bit risky. What if you offered people who uploaded movies some sort of premium space on the page (for a price of course)? That way the movie is always in your visitor's view.

    What do you mean by the whole users uploading movies? I don't fully understand this suggestion?

    Sell links from it. Like if you make reviews for movies then maybe you can get money from the studios - or, you can link to Amazon as an affiliate from your movie reviews (and that way earn commissions). You can also offer to make paid reviews for other sites that are movie related (like writing an article with a few links in it).
    If you are good at making sites then you can also simply sell it and make a new one.

    Are you suggesting what you said at the bottom?
    I am redoing design and what the website is all about. Who can I ask to try and get paid for writing for them or writing for myself but publishing for that studio? I've never been succesfull at selling amazon products, I suck as a DVD e-kart.

    Perhaps users could vote on whether or not the review was helpful. The most helpful review gets a share of the advertising revenue generated by that page or points based on that.
