    LOL
An avatar that pisses Muslims off and exposes their childish and self-humiliating dogma is a great avatar :)
I already have the guy's phone number, name and address. Just in case.(and he is not the funny moustache guy from above).

Go ahead, show me. Yes, my religion taught me to respect everyone from every religion. That is why I treat you as my brother.

I agree. It's like an ad for a college plan and it's really nice.

Well mate , most of those idiots who hate Muslims are very narrow minded people who think themselves smart which is clearly going against the first principle of logical thinking which is " Generalizing is usually wrong " . So nothing of what they say or most of what they say is based on hatred not thinking or logic , and always remember that logic is a fashion of time , Logic is apparently in a stationary system but in reality dynamic which expresses a state of equilibrium like that in saturated vapour pressure in a closed cycle .
Also their view on the Islamic world is emulated by their media which is including the Internet , as u see many of them have decided to dedicate their lives to post hatred against Muslims which increases the Hatred between us and that's another small evidence of that pure narrow thinking ,, Muslims can also post stuff against western societies but they will call it Freedom or whatever they do call it .

Enjoy your life , don't look at such religious forums or sites because it will make you hate the others , I know they deserve to get hated .. BTW I hope you get that 45% of Americans never went to college so don't think they are very smart (very educated ) .

    Are you functionally illiterate?

Generalizing is a critically important technique of Inductive Reasoning.

Would it help to point out that this statement is self-contradicting?

Lol I guess you've never studied logic at school or any college course . Generalizing is wrong and no doubt about it .
You can say "Most of" but not "All" also you still have to prove that it's "most of " not " one of " .
Hope u get it , take your time to understand .

The humor of an Islamist claiming knowledge of critical thinking is not lost on me. You might want to reconsider the education you've received, bright spark. From the wiki on the subject:

I guess it's clear that good generalization here means conclusions like laws of math , physics , chemistry which is to conclude , generalize then exclude .
Your text doesn't prove the point , or make any sense .
So let's imagine I travelled to France and got stolen two times , am I allowed to conclude and generalize that the French are thieves ? I guess not , you ?

Not contradicting, just generalizing. Does that mean you are likely to be wrong?

    Seriously, grab a clue.

I guess question is already posted which is just a simple clue , So let's imagine I travelled to France and got stolen two times , am I allowed to conclude and generalize that the French are thieves ? I guess not , you ?
Generalizing can be ok in science laws but still has exclusions .

Let me give you an example of a working generalization. Lets say I am the TSA(US Transportation Security Administration), and I am trying to keep terrorists from boarding airplanes. I could ignore all the statistics, as they are, and set up general security measures which check every last person who gets on an airplane for things such as box cutters, weapons, explosives, liquids that could be used as explosives, etc.. Such a non-generalizing procedure is prohibitively expensive, to the point of being counter productive because the people more likely to be terrorists are not getting the extra attention and scrutiny they need.

If, however, I used the sea of statistical information available to me, I would know that the chances of someone trying to carry out terrorist activity on an aircraft is astronomically small. I would apply the generalization that terrorists are likely to be muslims. More specifically, terrorists are likely to be muslim males between the ages of 18-27. I would apply this generalization and set up my screening accordingly. I would use the statistical information available to me to profile all passengers and give increasing scrutiny to those more likely to be a terrorist. Such scrutiny would use a variety of factors, including race/ethnicity. There is little doubt that generalization, applied thusly, would both reduce costs and increase security on air flights.

On the other hand, assuming after two personal encounters with theft in france that all french men are thieves is just ignorance. I know you don't understand the difference so please don't ask me to explain it to you again.

Generalizing is what allows me to throw my big fat butt in my big fat sofa chair dozens of times every day without examining the chair every single time I sit down.

The chair has always held my weight before, therefore I use inductive reasoning to generalize that the chair will hold my weight again.

But really CK, you're barking up the wrong tree. Nobody here is saying that all Muslims follow the Quran's commands to murder or enslave non-Muslims. Nobody here is saying that all Muslims follow the Quran's commands to beat their wives. Heck, no one here that I recall has even made the claim that all members of Al Qaeda or the Taliban are Muslims.

Heck, if most civilized people had their way no Muslims would follow those uncivilized portions of the Quran. Unfortunately, we don't get our way and a significant minority of Muslims are doing very bad things in the name of Allah. And you know what -- that's your problem. They are your people. If you want to get mad at someone for making Muslims look like a bunch of inbred sister-wife beating caravan-robbing hate-filled murdering primitives -- it ain't us you should be mad at. Go have a talk with your brothers who are doing the things which make people think poorly of Islam and sometimes even of Muslims.

Assuming that terrorists are between ages of 18- 26 etc.. differs alot from generalization to whole groups that they are terrorists . I hope it's you who get it , I guess you couldn't get the point of my question , or tried to go away so should I assume then when I walk in streets of paris that French are thieves so I don't have to get stolen again , why not ? LOL .
BTW I'm in the Faculty of Engineering , which college did you attend as I heard that 45% of Americans never went to college which is a great percent so let's generalize and say : Americans never go to college because they lack Education or Education is business there .

@Will , you have a complete misunderstanding of the religion , It even calls me to obey my parents if they are Atheists . But anyway I guess u don't look at what your big terrorists do to steal oil and metals ( or whatever you call them ) from countries you attack for "peace" of course . lol !

Stick around awhile and you'll discover that I know the Quran better than most of the Muslims here.
