various seo method ?

Hi, all DPers. I read most of all thread of how to build better website/blogs. And maybe i resume it for this kind of seo methods :
1. Keyword analysis
2. meta tag analysis
3. Make a ton of unique contents
4. Better appearance of website such as better theme so it attract visitor
5. Do follow blog commenting especially in relevant keyword
6. link exchange with relevant keyword blogs/website
7. social bookmarking site
8. make an articles such as in ezine article, goarticles, etc
9. promote your blogs/website
You can comment or give another methods

 

Are you asking for opinions or are you sharing what you think are the correct SEO methods?

In any case I want to give my opinion on a couple:
4. As far as I am concerned Better appearance of the site is NOT an actual SEO method. Although it IS important, particularly because once you bring the traffic, you want to keep it there, but I do not recall it being part of SEO.
6. Link Exchanges DO NOT work for SEO purposes. Search engines do not like link exchanges, they prefer ONE WAY links.

The rest seem to be all part of the SEO tactics that I have seen used all the time.

IMHO no matter how many methods you use on your Seo strategy, make sure you make it look natural in Googles eyes.

 

So does relevancy play a big role? I've been building links to my website but they are not related and they don't appear in yahoo site explorer.

You can make free of cost your company profile on business portals/marketplace and directly can get leads.

 

You can also share your Blog & Article in social Networking site like, Face book, Twitter, etc.

maybe i am asking opinion or sharing. As i said in title "various seo method ?" and i said it's resume of what thread i read. Because i am newbie, and what i write this thread is for feed back especially for me. Thank you for all feed back you give it to me. And maybe this thread is useful to all who need to know what is seo is

 

Pls include some more thing Article submission, video submission, forum posting, alt tag and H1 tag.
