Question relating to affiliate banners and the FTC rules

    Hello everyone,

I am currently testing some Clickbank products on a few of my Wordpress blogs. With that said, if I use an affiliate banner on my blog, do I have to place a disclaimer under each affiliate banner, telling the site visitors that my site is a paid affiliate of xyz product? I currently have a "affiliate disclosure" page on my blog (in footer). On the page I disclose my affiliation with all the companies that pay me a commission if I make a sale for them. Now will a disclaimer on this page suffice? or do I still need to place a "disclaimer" under each banner on my site?

    Thanks in advance,
    Gordon

Any thoughts on this? I still have mixed feelings.

    Thank you,

You only need to notify people if you are doing paid reviews or product promotion. Ad and affiliate banners have nothing to do with the new rules as long as they are not a part of product promotion of paid reviews.
