No one needs to "accept" free people. And, of course, there wouldn't have been an issue of all these slave women in Muhammad's camp if he would have quit robbing caravans. If I remember correctly, when the Muslims moved in and murdered all the males and raped all the females in a given caravan or village they raided and robbed, the tribes people would no longer accept the females because they were "impure" after having been raped by the Muslim invaders. If a slave women has been given similar right as that of a wife, if she is living in a house with his own wife, looking after others, then why should she be deprived of that. The children which slave women gave birth had the same right as that of that man's own wife's children. Did it make any disruption in society? Did it create any injustice in society, did it result in babies thrown into dustbins (like you have in your society), did it result in prostitutes (like you have in your society).
