Thats my blog address. I write all the stuff myself. The design on the website is quite simple and thats the way I like it. However, I'd like to know general people's reaction to the design of the website. What do you think I should do to make it look good.

You may also advice on other aspects of the blog - content, SEO etc.

It is quite good and simple.

2 things I would like to mention that you should try.

1. try changing the color of your logo text, if possible replace it with a sharp tech image logo.
right now your "ABSOLUTELY TECH" logo text is blending in with the other black colored titles and fades away. it should stand out more. And since you are using the word "absolutely" you seriously should consider using a nice techie logo/image.

2. I have found out over the years that a lot of people find it intimidating to see a donate money widget on the very top. You should try bumping it down a bit.

Nice theme. Color scheme is nice and the content is easy to read and navigate. You could definitely benefit from a nice logo, however.

I like you website. It gave me one very good trick to add you tube videos by command console. I liked it.
The info is great but the site look should be little techy,, in my point of view..

You can consider my little advise here,
1. change the logo to some techy logo
2. try to change the template color to little silver color, feel techy though
3. you may use techy keywords to define your page.. like the "browse by topic" can be considered as "techno topics"..

What I am telling is that your website look should give an idea to users what they are going to find in the website..ex, consider my website www.my-goa-tour.com, it looks more like a hotel booking site than a travel guide site..
consider this !!

I think its a bit too simple. Also, I'm not a fan of 3-column blogs. Maybe try combining the two side bars into one so your content area can be wider? That, new logo, and nice top menu, I think this could be a great site.

I like whole website I think that color themes are so good.

The content is exellent. The design, not so much. Don't get me wrong, i like the simple aspect, but all it needs is a couple of borders here and there and it will look great.

 

1. Replace the current logo with an image.
2. Remove the borders on the RSS and twitter images. This can be easily achieved with CSS(just set the border to 0px).
3. Change the colour of the post titles. They should stand out from the rest of the post and just making the text larger is not enough.
4. Style your categories list. Right now it is showing the default bullets, you could show a tick-box or arrow there.

These are only minor corrections that won't take too long to fix. Other than those I've mentioned, your site looks good and easily readable. Good work!

 

i dont like the design. categories can be very specific.

 

Its pretty simple but attractive one and i like your site, but you should have better content to have a good visitors for your site
