Looking for a Contest Underwriter

About four years ago I worked with a company that underwrote contests. I cannot for the life of me remember who they are. Anybody got some ideas on these types of companies? I want a legitimate company that I can use to give away a Caribbean vacation...

I used to do a ton of mailing when I owned a huge mailing list (since then I no longer mail) I believe if you have a nice site with lots of traffic, the company would provide a pretty nice prize for you to have as a contest on your site.

This builds loyalty and registrations. The company did in fact follow through. With my site we gave away a Jeep and a trip to Hawaii. Some companies share the demographic info they collect with you, all depends on the underwriter. I had to pay a small set up fee, I think maybe 4-500 bucks. It is small when you realize they are giving away a $25k vehicle..

There are a lot of legalities attached to running a contest / sweepstakes today. That being the case, it is safe to use a company that specializes in them. They know what the terms and legal blurbs need to say to protect everybody involved.

I'm working on an online game with prizes (at the moment we are thinking about giving away Amazon Gift Certificates) - we should be ready in about a month, and we might be interested in having someone sponsorize our (monthly) contest...
