This is the most ridiculous thread ever.

OP asks for Chaos to be banned because he doesn't like his avatar.

Shawn explains he needs to block Chaos if he doesn't want to see it.

OP complains about private messages.

Shawn tells him exactly how to report them.

OP does not say "Thank you, I'll do that now." then leave, instead continues to try and convince Shawn to randomly ban someone because he doesn't like their avatar.

My suggestion; OP, if you don't like it, you can leave. Get your own forum and force users to have avatars that conform to your own standards.

 

I think there was a moderator on here and she was depicted in an avatar on here.. as a wicked witch,, I believe that user (with that avaatar) was banned, lol. Just an opinion I guess, but it was about the forum leaders, so different ball game I guess?

 

How do you know she was banned because of her avatar and not for something else?

We all get what you are asking for. You are asking that everyone on DP be limited as to what they can view because you believe that a member's avatar is insulting to your religion. You are asking that everyone at DP give up their right to express themselves so Muslims will not be offended.

Why should people who are not offended by that avatar be blocked from seeing it? Otherwise what we end up with is a site of things that offend nobody - and well - that sounds like crap. It sounds like a Kurt Vonnegut book.

(Muslims brothers, please do not click the link below as it is to the same image being complained about and I do not wish you to inadvertently view an image offensive to you. I am posting to make a point that blocking a single image from being seen on this website only is tantamount to sticking your head in the sand since the image abounds all over the Internet.)

Lastly, that image exists whether or not it is in his avatar. I fail to see how blocking one instance of that image which is found all over, is protecting Islam or Muslims. Your request merely blocks it from your personal view on this forum only - the same thing that accomplished by putting anyone you find offensive on ignore.

What he wanna say is that WE are ALL refuse this thing and we are here to discuss with the admin what we aim to ...and I am sure If I told my friends of this topic it will have hundreds of replies in minutes because as I said before all of us REFUSE that AT ALL .

@powerpoisson - My way of thinking is that this forum is owned by one person and as previously mentioned, being in America, is protected by free speech. The owner/admin has made it clear what the OP needs to do if he has an issue - he needs to suck it up and do it. If he doesn't like it, he can leave. If this is ridiculous I would love to hear what you think can be achieved by the OP continuing to whinge about it.

No, what he is saying that he/you want Admin to impose on the rest of us what you want us
to see, to say or how to express ourselves but according to your twisted by your religious
believes and morality and being punished if we choose to have our own opinions and articulate
