I know we webmasters don't really click on ads, maybe thats just my observation but i never click on any adsense ads ever on any website. If a website really interests me, i open up a new window and type in the URL. The reason, i dont really know... help me out here, tell me i m not alone So the question is when was the last time you clicked an AdSense Text AD? If you ask me, i seriously don't remember, its been a while... i copy pasted the URL in a new window 3 days ago...
yesterday I wonder how many of you that have created web sites that have adsnse on have seen a google adsense link that you were really intersted in but you could not click the link as it was on your own site. I have a site that is one of my fav topics and some of the adds are very appealiing and i would like to go to the site but if i click the link i run the risk of getting the boot. I have searched other sites like mine but never see the same links still i might have to go to the library and view mt site there then i can click on one of my links to find out where it goes or ask someone to do it for me, personaly i have never ever clicked on my own links far to risky
Actually at thescienceforum.com I really like the forum because he only has one ad way at the bottom, so Ill click the ad everynow and then and click around on the linked site. Sorta my way of supporting him for having an awesome forum.
I very rarely click on ads. I don't click on ads just for the sake of it, it has to really be something that interests me. I clicked one yesterday, but before that it would have been a few weeks since I clicked one.
I somehow follow a similar pattern that zaddy follows. Always try open the link in new window by typing the url of the site.
Technically never but only because I have Adsense blocked – no point in risking clicking my own ads and pointlessly inflating my impression and lowering my own CPM.
I have no problem with clicking ads if it is something that interests me when I'm surfing the web. That's what they are there for. The only time I wont click is when your orginal click lands on a pay per click site. They just annoy me too much and generally don't have anything worthwhile to offer.
I rarely click on AdSense ads. Probably because I am very focussed on the content of the page . . . But, I am especially careful not to click on anything at sites that look a collection of AdSense, AdSearch and other AdFeeder blocks; or sites which look like they were never intended to deliver content. On the other hand, I have clicked numerous ads in search engine results the past few days because I have been looking for specific types of content and utilities. That is an interesting choice . . . hmm
