hi guys i had a site which was ranked #1 for 3 years in google.com and then all of a sudden it dropped out google - i still rank high in bing, yahoo etc. IN WEBMASTER TOOLS - sitemap is not indexed, no incoming links (use to have 300+) they cleared me out! HOW do i get google to re-include me - TIPS? I am rebuilding the site with much more content etc.
I guess its all about the competition...well, you need to work hard. try to study the site that is on top now and try to get better links than the site has.
Try to get some quality back links from some high page rank sites. Do some social bookmarking and directory submissions on some High PR websites. At the same time keep updating your site with fresh, unique and informational content.
well i am implementing a classified script to allow people to list their cars (its a car sales sites) which i didnt have before..so im hoping this counts as NEW CONTENT to google as people generate their ads
firstly is your site removed from google index or it just dropped in ranking ? if there is a drop in ranking then ,simply build a lot of high quality backlinks to your website will help it ranking in top position
So you are making new sites on old domain? Maybe that is why they erase you. You have to build it again. Good luck
I don't think that his site dropping out completely is just due to competition. Something happened. If it lost a few places yeah maybe competition, but he says he isn't there at ALL.
Yes the site not even listed when you do a site:www.... my url is www.usedcustomcars .com (currently changing servers to Linux) to help apply this new script.
Yup...this URL is removed by Google form its index. You must do some Social Bookmarking on some quality sites, that will bring you back in the index of Google within a couple of weeks. Or you can directly submit your URL to Google through its submission form but that will take around a month to index your site.
If you're website has been removed from Google index then your website might have been penalised due to some issues you might have been unaware of. Try consulting your Google webmaster tools as Google will most likely give information as to why your website has been penalised and then rectify or sort those issues out before submitting a re-inclusion request to Google. Your website will most likely not get indexed again if there are still issues and website penalties that still hasn't been sorted.
Try to get back the trust of google by getting few link from high page rank website PR6 and above and submit your rss feed to the rss directories.

Not really sure if getting link from high page rank websites will be helpful, if you're website has an issue and has been penalised then you have to sort it out first. Also, with the new indexing Caffeine, it may be highly recommendable to update your website with fresh, unique and informative content.
@ GRIMM: how would my WEBMASTER TOOLS let me know what is wrong - its more a reporting tool, maybe you can educate me EVERYONE: thanks guys..since i am new to SCRIPTS, i have a SOFTBIZ Auto Script puirchased and being installed..so the site will be revamped completely..its also SEO URL friendly..now people can add free car ads to sell their cars..i hoping this will help generate more "content" i also I have some good articles i am putting in a INFO section. As for RSS feeds - i have never used it..but since the site will have new ads being posted daily - i assume RSS feed would be good.
HTML Suggestions and other Google findings can be found under Diagnostics - It might not give you information on what is wrong but it can definitely give you information on how Google checks up on your website.
Like the above posters have mentioned, just keep doing whatever it was you were doing to rise in the SERPS. Eventually, Google will see that the sandbox has not worked on you and that your site has genuinely good content as people are still linking to you and bookmarking your posts.
It's a long shot, but has your script stopped google from crawling your site? When we introduced a new submenu software, all our pages started dropping out of the index one by one. We deleted the submenu software, changed to a new one, and the pages started getting reindexed. If, however, you site has been kicked into page 10 or worse, then it's a penalty - either over onpage optimisation or linking your own sites or buying links or link farms etc
In Google Webmaster Central, you need to put in a "Reconsideration Request". Of course you'll need a Google Webmaster Central account, and you'll have to verify the site. After you've verified your site, you need to review Google's webmaster guidelines. http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=35769 Once you have found and corrected your issue (no they won't tell you which part of these guidelines you've violated), or if you believe that you do not violate any of these terms, then you can request reconsideration. https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/reconsideration I usually takes Google about a week to review your site again, and either approve or deny your request. I can tel you that if you've been penalized, they are very strict about their guidelines in regards to your reconsideration request. You're site will need to follow every single guideline to the exact letter. Good luck. Let me know if you'd like me to give it a 'once over'. I have about a 70% success rate in helping people with reconsideration requests.
