Press Release, is it really help ?

Hi, I just wonder, how press release can help my sales.
Any story here?
I know it works before, but is it still working?

 

For me.. writing press releases is an additional way to promote my business. When I post press releases on pr sites, I have traffic from these sites (GoogleAnalitic displays it).. And according customers survey some of them come to my site after reading my press releases.

 

They are part of the search optimization procedures.

 

The short answer is yes. Press releases will help your business.

The long answer is yes, especially if you can work into something that a newspaper or online news service will pick up. Imagine seeing your press release turned into a newspaper story. The extra publicity can really help. The trick, however, is writing a release that appeals to a print publication and getting it published.

 

I do get a lot of traffic from PR.
Write it in an impressive and promising way.
Use Keywords. You will find some good traffic coming through it.

They can be used to increase backlinks

 

It will make your site ranked higher in SE.
In the same time,your site will be indexed faster .

for me, press release is a way to promote a business. so, i think it really helps.

 

IMO unless you get lucky and someone picks up your PR, then the biggest benefit to a press release is that its an easy way to get backlinks.

 

It's definitely useful both for your website and for your services/business that you offer.
It's like making your business in public and gain some reputation based from your Press Release Articles.

 

Press release will give you higher rank and get people to know who you are and what your doing. PR, Marketing and sales all work together in a business.

 

Press releases are a good way to get your name out there, and most of the PR sites will give you a quality backlink. As far as newspapers/TV picking up the story, it's not going to happen. I worked in a newsroom for years, and we would get press releases emailed/faxed to us all the time. 99.9% they were just an ad and were not considered newsworthy.

 

They definitely help Google likes them too!
