Your forum is looking cool but make a nice logo for your forum and get more members for it and make it popular

 

Very nice font, category just very good but if you change background any lighter color or plain white will make best looking forum.

 

The forum looks good, the design is also good.

 

Firstly it needs a decent logo sorting out, the one you have currently just makes the whole first impression look bad.
Needs alot more content before you will get that many people interested in it, even if you have to copy content from other sources just to get things looking more like a working forum.

I do like the theme/skin and like you said the layout is like DP and why not use it seen as it works for DP and many others.

 

Your forum is excellent and your site layout is very good.
