Suggestions needed: What is the salary of SEO in india ?

Hi,

I got a offer for a SEO analyst job from a small company here in bangalore and i am asked to tell them my expected salary in 2 days. I have 10k Rupees/month in my mind and i am sure they aren't gonna pay much than that.

I have 2 things to ask.

1) Will i find a good paying SEO job after 1 - 2 years working in this company? What would be the likely salary for a 1 - 2 years SEO experienced people ?


2) Is there a future scope in this feild in India ?

 

I would suggest you to first do job in that company and get experienced in SEO. And then after few years open your own company, there are lot of scope in this field in future so you should get in to it.

 

What would be the salary be for people with 1- 2 years expeirnece?

 

I think that at least 40 thousand INR.but if you have a better performance it will increase.

 

Thats definetly a good salary for a SEO 1-2 years experience. Though I wonder if such company do exist.

It depends on your experience and company as well, may be around $1k/month.

 

It is not how much you will get, it is how well can you perform. Make yourself indispensable in your field, you will fill up your pocket one day.

 

$1K/ month is very good salary. I want to know the companies that are requiring SEO persons.

 

Indian salary mostly depends on the location. If you are in metro cities like Bombay, Pune or Delhi so you will get 20-30 thousands and if you are in the other cities your salary will be low.

SEO is hard too. you need to spend alot for it. so you need a lot such as $1.5K/month

 

there is still place for good quality person yeah you got high price

 

If it is true that 2 - 3 years experience gain SEO have the salary 40 in India then it is a very good package at this stage experience. When I had this experience then mine was 18. Now after gaining 8 years experience mine is 70+

And I think with 8 years experience of SEO, the salary in India is more than mine.

 

If you get a good company then I think minimum would be Rs. 50,000 - 60,000 monthly easily.

 

I think the salary would be near about
45000 INR. As the SEO is the good position
in the company.That position is giving
to the knowledgeable and dependable people.

 

But the problem is not many big MNCs hire SEO specialists in India.

 

Well, I can prefer you to evaluate the company and their brand name if the brand name of the company engage much exposure then you can compensate with the salary factor because gaining experience in any field rate higher than the salary

 

may be 1000$ per month.

 

First get the lot of experience in this field then money will come after you.
