Hi i have a problem my title is currently

SEO, Webmaster, Programmer, Marketing Forum, Webmaster Resource

But the phrases i want to get ranked for are

    seo forum
    webmaster forum
    programmer forum
    and
    marketing forum

If i enter forum after each word in my title it will be too long and not search engine friendly is there a way i can write them so they will read them with the forum after them i assumed putting a comma after each word would do the job just the way a human would read it but it does not please any advice on this is appreciated.

    simplelance,

Just my opinion, but you are targeting too many keywords for one page. I would only focus on 2 keywords for each page...MAX. It is better to have different pages target some of those keywords. I would pick two of the main keywords for your market and focus on the main page with them. Use or create other pages to support the rest of the keywords. Hope that helps!

I would almost say it's better to have every keyword phrase and build a different site for it making a network of forums.

Like energydude says it's almost impossible to get good rankings for these phrases if you put it on one page.

So I agree with him either make different pages or think about making more then 1 site

It doesn't matter how many keywords in a page, normally less than 20 is ok. The most important is the keyword weight and precedence, that's to say you shall repeat the most important keywords 1 or 2 times, and put them in the starting place in the keyword meta tag.

Too many keywords (more than 30) will dilute keyword weight, however, only 1 or 2 keywords per page will miss some information from your site, and most important, some search engine will think this is a doorway page and will not index it.

Based on your keywords, I will suggest you design a page for each keywords. Definitely you can't have a page with all the information with equal importance, instead you shall have 1 or 2 keyword as the leading, and all the others will be secondary but related with the leading ones.

With the words you have choosen it is better to have less. If you take a look at each phrase you will find a lot of competition.

An other thing is making a forum specific but still in a network of sites it is easier to market it. General website or targeted to 1 point...which will you visit if you are looking for an answer?

If you settle for 80% then that is okay...I would not settle for less than almost perfect. Competition is stiff...

    Hi, simplelance.

Frankly, these are the wrongest keywords to concentrate on.
    1.) programmers/webmasters are pretty smart. No one of them searches for phrase like "programmer forum"; they would rather prefer a page giving an answer to the problem their visitors stumble upon;
2.) the strategy to add "programmer", "coder", "webmaster" + whatever keywords to your title, mmmmmmmmhm... it´s a long hard road out of hell No1 to the hell No2.

The keywords i chose are the ones that describe my site best that is the main reason i chose them.

I will consider what has been said and look at my keywords again.

fora can be replaced by another keywords.
If something describes your site the best but brings no traffic, is it still something to follow?
