I've decided that I want to try my luck as a professional blogger. But there's a couple small snags in my plan so I'll lay them out and get your opinion afterward. Snag 1. I suck at writing and I have terrible grammar. Snag 2. Time...This is something that I don't have much of! snag 3. Motivation...yet another thing that I lack in most situations conserining effort. So, with those hurdles in mind. what are my odds of success? Are these mental issues I can overcome, or am I doomed to fail?
If you want to succeed you will have to work at these obstacles..... Motivation first....... Git er done.....
To be a successful blogging writer is really a hard work. You have to spend most time on it, find a lot of requested information, and maybe several years to be successful. The most important thing is to insist on it.
Don''t loose hope. Infact I know some people who started like you. They only learned in practicing things. I know you can make it too. Just believe in your self and ask help in experts for more constructive criticisms.
The most important thing to success is motivation. Theme of blogging should be interesting for you, try to find something of the kind. So that it was like your hobby, that you could spend your free time on it, and feel satisfied (if you say you do not have much time). As to writing and grammar, as someone already have said here - practice makes perfect.
If you want to succeed as a blogger you'll need all of those three things. You can work on your grammar as you blog, and grammar is the smallest problem that you'll face. If you want a successful blog, you'll need time to do SEO. If you don't have time you can hire or team up with someone that will do SEO for you. And as for motivation, motivation is key to success. Try to find topic that you like and that you're interested in so it won't be a bother for you to write about it. Try to get write fresh content on daily basis and as the time passes you'll eventually get the hang of it. Of course if you really don't have time for all of this you can always hire a person to write for you, but again that depends on your budget. I know it looks impossible at the moment but don't be so pessimistic about it, practice makes it perfect.
These are all good responses and tips, thanks for you time guys. I'll drop my link when I get the blog rolling.
You can definitely overcome these things, and as to you being a bad writer, you can definitely overcome that. Just revise your work after you write it and ensure that it all makes sense! If you don't feel comfortable revising your work yourself, then bring a partner on board and he or she can do the revisions! As to you not having enough time, you have to make time. I think you thinking you don't have enough time has a lot to do with you being unmotivated. Try and find something that motivates you, and once you do, I'm sure the rest will fall into place for you. Good luck!!!
if u realy want to be a proffesional u have to do work hard..ur problem can not overcome by any other thing...
Blogging should be taken as a Passion not as a burden of work, if you do so then you will make best blog ever.
Oh, jeez. This may have already been suggested, but the first thing I would do if I were you is sign up for a simple English class. Most of the time you can find these for free. And, don't get me wrong, I find a great deal of entertainment on blogs that are far from perfect. I'm only recommending thisi as it is on your list of things that are "bothering" you. Another option would be to write your blog and have somebody check it after you get a few posts ready. I see very little, if anything, wrong with your speech in your opening thread here Friend, motivation comes and goes. No worries. Did you know you can write five blog posts in one day and then post the date that you want them to appear. This will help you use your time wisely.
Practice makes perfect but nobody is perfect so why practice? because practice only shows more mistakes. LOL just being silly. On a positive note, out of the 3 things that you have mentioned, Motivation for me is the most important. If you have the right motivation regardless of how hectic your schedule or limited your time is, you'll still find ways to do it. If you have again the motivation regardless on good or bad you are on your grammar and even if you suck at writing, you'll still find ways to make it better. There's no harm in trying so give it your best shot.
