Its probably some bullshit package for let me guess 99$ or 59$ ? Or even 169$. It will tell you to look at what your competittors are doing and immitate them. Go to Yahoo Site Explorer check up a site and look at their backlinks and copy them, thats basicly what they will tell you
no idea what Reverse SEO is, but it sounds scammy. It's either what the above posters said, or maybe its a weird name/technique for Reputation Management?
Reverse SEO is taking the top 3/4/5 etc sites in a niche according to the search engines, and basically seeing what they have that you don't. This usually takes the form of links. Using tools like yahoo sitexplorer, and the link: operator in other search engines, will give you the inobund links for a site. If some are blogs, go there and post your own comment there. That's basically the idea.
reverse seo has 2 different applications. you either do reverse seo to generate negative publicity for your competitors. you keep posting enough misleading or harmful news and reviews on various sites, forums, consumer advocate sites, etc. with enough negative reports being on the front page of google for your competitor, their business will hurt. this might give you a competitive edge but will ruin your soul. remember one thing, what goes around comes around and karma will catch up with you some day. another application would be where your competitor is doing this crap and hurting your reputation. if this happens to you were you are a victim of such negative publicity, you will need to undertake a reputation management campaign to push the negative news about your site off the google front page. reverse seo is sometimes known as google bowling. do a little research on "reverse seo" and/or "google bowling" and you will find ton of resources.
Reverse seo generally refers to reverse engineering a competitors site. Finf their incoming links and try to get the same links plus 1. Its that simple.
