Does google index .info domains?

I have a domain dot info. (i.e. DOMAINNAME.info)

The site isn't indexed in Google. I'm trying to search for my DOMAINNAME.info in Google but nothing comes up, and I'm sure I used keywords and some other links from other sites - can I ask you do you know if Google does index .info domains or not? Is dot com the best domain to get, because Google doesn't index .info domains?

Can you advise?

(NB if I'm allowed to post my site please let me know and I will share my site URL, but I won't share it unless it's allowed by the forum rules)

 

Ofcourse Google indexes .info domains for many Keywords I have even seen .info on first place

 

Info domains too can be promoted. Continue your work, you'll get indexed. What is your site. How long you are working for that site.

 

Obviously, Google index .info domains including mine When I post something in my blog, Google crawl it within 1 minutes. All domains are equal for Google. So, you have to wait for it.

 

Google indexes all the tlds and does not have the mandate to leave out any tlds from its search!

Your site... if newly launched, needs to be made visible to google to get indexed. You can do so... by making your site link visible at high trafficked social sites like digg or even on a forum like DP by carrying your site link in your signature space!

Not entirely true, it is VERY hard to rank .to or .co.cc and the companies that supply them can easily hijack them

 

You should wait some days. Google will index your domain definitely.

Good luck with the site just bookmark it on a few sites (Digg/Reddit/Propeller/etc)

 

Is there any way to expedite the process without waiting a few days? I mean is there anything on my end that I can do to expedite the process? (like the suggestions RightMan gave me to post my site in Digg etc?)

Actually since Google is a company not owned by WHOIS they legally can do anything they like to a domain or a tld... Ignore it, bury it, delete it. In all reality the government could Google to downplay some news stories and up-play others, but I doubt Google would accept their money since they seem to almost hate anything to do with the government. Look at what they told China

All tld's are indexed equal. No matters if its .com or .info

 

Hey, I tried to use Reddit but they remove the Reddit page automatically due to spm reasons so there's nothing much I can do in Reddit?

I've never used these sites you guys mentioned, am I allowed to post links there or not?
