    Hi all....

Why it is always recommended that you should not use frames in your site designing.....Search engines have problems in indexing frames or they don't even index sites using frames.........what is the reason for this?

Because, generally speaking, Search Engines struggle to see past the frameset. So if you have important information on one of the frames you may miss being indexed properly.

Even if you accept that search engines will be able to see past the frameset, practically you are splitting the value of that page into however many frames you have, (because search engines will see each frame as an individual page).

Agreed, frames are considered to be individual pages. So if you have many frames on one URL it might be considered as different pages merged under one url leading to content duplication within sites.
