Hi everybody, I have some knowledge about Google analytics account. My question is in Google analytics-->visitors overview displays visits, page views, bounce rate, tome on site etc.. Question is details about what is page views and bounce rate in website.Give details.........
page views (as opposed to visits): is total number of pages of your site viewed (including for example refreshes) by all visitors bounce rate: percentage of users that went away from your site without clicking any internal links on it (only viewed one page of your site) - usually by clicking browser back button
Page Views - The no. of times your page is viewed one visitor can do many page views.. example - suppose one visitor come to your site he visit your home page and then move to inner page and then re move to your home page then in this case Visitor - 1 visit / page views - 3 ( home page --> inner page --> home page agian ) Unique Page View - 2 ( home page & inner page ) Bounce Rate - Only a single page visit is called bounce rate. Example - suppose one visitor come to your site and he doesn't navigate to any other page. if your bounce rate is more than 50% then it's not good for your website/blog..

Hello friend, Pageviews is the total no.of pages viewed by visitors on your site and it indicates that how much your site is used by any visitor. Bounce rate is the percentage of single page visit by visitors.the visitors that left your site from entrance page.when bounce rate is high, generally it indicates that your site entrance pages are not relevant to visitors.
You can get your answer via Google analytics help. Anyway, I have made your work easy. Bounce rate is the percentage of single-page visits or visits in which the person left your site from the entrance (landing) page. Use this metric to measure visit quality - a high bounce rate generally indicates that site entrance pages aren't relevant to your visitors. The more compelling your landing pages, the more visitors will stay on your site and convert. You can minimize bounce rates by tailoring landing pages to each keyword and ad that you run. Landing pages should provide the information and services that were promised in the ad copy. And Pageviews: Pageviews is the total number of pages viewed on your site and is a general measure of how much your site is used. It is more useful as a basic indicator of the traffic load on your site and server than as a marketing measure.
I have signed up for google analytics to track visitors of my blog. But analytics report keep on telling me i am getting "0" visitors a day although I am getting some visitors everyday. What to do? Is there anythng like adding a script to html?
However I didn't find any script that i need to add with the source. If i need to add that then where to get it? Thank You
