How to SEO my ranking to the top 1?

Now use the keyword to search on google, my website's ranking is the top 3.. the top 1 and 2 are Cnet download sub-pages...

Do I need to make my website to PR4? or get more backlinks? Where and how can I do these?

I think backlinks will do it .

 

You need thousands of backlinks and you need to constantly update your site with high quality content that is about the stuff you're trying to make yourself popular about. It takes hard work, it's never easy.

I think PR might not be decisive factor for ranking purpose. You need to build more backlinks using your targeted keywords and their variants. Deep linking to inner pages would also benefit your SERP and would be more naturally.

You need some GOOD backlinks. Really good ones. And keep at it! I was stuck at 3 for my top keyword for forever but finally got to 1 just by working hard and being patient. It can actually take a good few weeks before you see any changes from a change you made to your site or to your backlinks.
