Highest Response Rate you've ever had?

For all those people out there who participate in email marketing, I'm just wondering what's the highest response rate you have ever achieved with an email campaign?

 

I did it only once. 1600 sent - 11 double opt-in signups. The user base was German and my offer was in English, I guess it was not a best match, but still..

So 11 responses out of 1,600 is the best you have had, and you are at least happy with that number. Was that all from your own work, or did you pay for any services to help your campaign.

 

because I had some advertising credits on a German site

a freebie signup (and i get paid for them to signup)

Yes I was surprised to get even that considering language targeting mismatch.

Yeah sounds like from what you were working with that it was quite good. How about any other campaigns, I know the average is 1-3% but I just want to hear some actual results from people on here, instead of just statistics.

 

11/1600 = .006 This is really a bad response rate. May be your prospects were not targeted enough.

Well RedStar it's not a good response rate, but considering he had it for free and was marketing a deal in English to German customers its not as bad as it seems, but yes there are much better response rates out there.
