Hey, So my website has been up a couple of days now and im looking to increase traffic to the website its self, how can i go about doing this in the cheapest and most effective way? http://www.raffleyoursite.com Thanks, Adam
Your website is plain look and which is good sign. As a webmaster, I know well it's how difficult for us to generate more visitors. There have lots of way to increase your traffic. Some people recommended to use SEO and some other give alternate tips. From your current site looks, I think, it'll somehow hard to get rank in search engine. Search Engines give important to that sites which contents are often (in daily basis) updated. First of all, try to reflect your updates into your home page by anyhow. it's may be by displaying update contents or just few contents with inbound url bcoz Google or other search engines are index homepage regularly (depending on contents update) compare to other internal pages. Try to generate more PR by putting your link to web directories or by link exchange. thanks
cheapest traffic - auto traffic (good for boosting alexa/google analytics and page impressions only more expensive - real visitors traffic
Your site has a very clean uncluttered appearance, which is great! So, if the issue is traffic generation I would suggest credit-based safelists. The traffic is immediate and real.
Your website has a great idea. I would recommend that you get a sponsor (s) and promote your website to webmasters. It is quite an easy site to promote.
I suggest to hire someone who has some knowledge in SEO. This would really help you focus more on your core business. Here are some tips: 1. URL Submission 2. Article Submission 3. Forum Posting 4. Blogging and Blog Commenting 5. Keyword Research, Keyword Analysis and Keyword Optimization 6. Basic Data Entry 7. Social Bookmarking and Social Media Marketing
Awesome idea, I entered my site. I would personally get some paid reviews on some blogs like TylerCruz.com, and MelvinBlog.com because a lot of their readers have websites which they will enter into your site. Give it a chance, I think it would really work out well.
Maybe add some of that "about" page text onto the main page, so visitors get a clearer idea of what's going on.
Publish articles, ask for reviews get links and submit your site in some of the nice search engines you will definitely get traffic .....good luck...
To increase a traffic and get a good rank in search engine is what SEO for. I suggest you to consider a complete SEO techniques for your site. As you said the site is new so it will take time so have some patience.
Just took a look, and I think you might be a twisted genius. Nice clean look, but I had to hunt around a little before I found the 'Click here for more info' link and found out exactly what was going on. If you want more traffic, get a Twitter account and spread the word, or make a couple of short YouTube videos explaining what your site offers.
For FREE? SEO, Search Engine Optimization. Only free if you do it yourself. YET, do know that it is NOT easy and it takes a lot of work and effort. You also have to invest in email marketing. SEO takes a while before you start seeing the results. Email marketing is a direct form of advertising where you contact people directly to their email. One of the most popular forms of email marketing is Solo Ads. HOWEVER, email marketing WILL cost you. Especially when we are talking about targeted, niche and contact emails. Now, I know some people have recommended social networks, but those ONLY work if you know how to use them well. REMEMBER that the vast majority of the people there are there for two things, socialize and have FUN! If you approach their use with this in mind, only accept friends and followers that are interested in what you have to offer, you will save yourself a lot of wasted time.
There is a lot SEO free tools , some of them is automated. just buy one and your website will be monetize
Everyone is telling you how to get traffic which is good. I just wanted to comment a little bit about the site: put you main benefit right at the top, so there is no confusion about what you get by going to the site. You want to make them click on your link NOW because you have an irresistable offer on the other side. I was a little confused about the "you don't need a website" box, which had what looked like where site links. Once again the benefit seemed hard to determine.
