I'm running a web site (previously revamped) on "plant machinery equipment" (www.plantmachineryequipment.co.za) The site does do with the keywords that also can be found within the title, but is now pretty low for many of the other keywords it should do good on. Has the site been inboxed?
Thanks guys! Actually it seems as if I'm out of the deepest of the hole now. There is traffic again and it comes via google. The problem may have been temporary. However I think I should look at the measures proposed soon. I think of the content could be a bit repetitive, so more meat needs to be added.
Sitemaps are just to ensure that search engines crawl all the pages you want them to crawl.. They have got no direct impact on SEO or traffic of your website.
the site is send to the sand box if the google spiders found the spam in your site and you add the content in your site from any other site and they will complaint it to the google
It's on good positions with some main keyword again. I think I just have to add more unique and descriptive content to each of the pages. After that some good SEO should be done.
About a week with adding contents on main pages. Tha;ts of course no scientific amount I am giving there. Be advised that it ranks well with quite competitive key phrases like of plant, machinery, equipment on the local google engine. However the more specific pages do not rank and I assume this has to do with the fact that these are actually new pages and the site is still only PR2.
LOL fresh content that the funniest thing!!! your probably got sandboxed becase your adding too many links - the only thing to do is to keep on adding links ( at a lesser rate and more quality )
by working on no follow sites and getting backlinks from org and edu backlinks. Can take you out from google sandbox.
