Is google down?

hello,

I was wondering if google is opening on your side. For the past few hours I am not able to open google.com as well as gmail.com

Are you guys having the same problem>

Fine here in texas.

 

Both Google and Gmail is opening and working fine in India but they are not showing those web, image, video, etc option in their top left corner. And one more thing i have notice is they are showing one lock (logo) with SSL written with their Google logo.

Can anyone explain what does it means? What is searching on Google with SSL means?

 

I still can't open it. Maybe I should clear my 100 year old history.

 

I don't think it's down. I just went to google.com

 

And guess what I can't open the google blog. ODD right?

 

does same some times only on chrome .but rest is ok here in UK .

 

I refreshed everything and restarting my net and computer. Everything is working alright now.

 

no Google is working fine in INDIA also

 

I think it depends on the reach of the Internet connection, I have been having problems as above, then I contacted the Internet service provider and now all fine.

Some times it's opening here in India perfectly but sometimes it's fails to open. i think something is going on.

 

Glad your problem was solved. You could also try changing your DNS servers to either Google DNS or Open DNS, if this happens again.

 

Everything working on my side, it looks ur DNS OR ISP issue.
