I simplified this post so that i could get a specific answer for what I'm asking. Basically can someone confirm this: If someone searched a term, found an article I wrote targeting that term on Ezine, then clicked on the link in my resource box to get to my site, in Google analytics' that's listed as a referral from Ezine, not an organic search engine visit, correct? If something is listed as organic traffic then it came from someone searching a term specifically and clicking on my site in the SERPs rather than going through Ezine or some other site. I know it sounds pretty obvious hence I just want confirmation, but I wanted to make sure that ANY traffic from Ezine, whether it be from someone finding my site through an Ezine article i wrote in the SERPs versus just surfing Ezine and finding my site on the main page, those still count as referrals from Ezine in analytics, yes?
In Google analytics if your check you traffic source and view full report, you will see exactly where the Traffic came from. If it came from Ezine it will say ezinearticles.com / referral or from a forum forums.digitalpoint.com / referral. It is very easy with this report to identify where you traffic is coming from. IF you need any help send PM.
Thanks, easy answer. Sorry for the long explanation but just didn't know how else to describe the question.
