Hi everyone! I need your advice. I don’t have extended knowledge about HTML, I know just basics. And it’s too hard and killing to code. I have inspiration and I’d like to design with pleasure not making boring work. Can you advise me any tool or maybe software that can convert my PSD to WordPress theme? Any ideas? Waiting for your help.

You might want to look at http://www.psd2cssonline.com/ which will get you part way. Also check out http://www.divine-project.com/

If this is something you're going to be doing a lot of, I'd suggest learning how to do it yourself first, so you can fix any errors generated by automated tools.

After I have designed a layout in Photoshop, I tend to hire someone to code it, or if I have free time, I slice it up and code it myself. Google for a 'slicing and coding tutorial', then look up WordPress Theme Development and go from there.

you must know first at least basic html and also css.in wordpress you will edit pages like sidebar.php, header.php etc. so that you will know where to put a certain structure on the page itself.

You have to manually do it. Software can't do it 100% accurately. If not possible you have to hire a service or a freelancer for this.

First HTML will only get your presentation for the WP theme complete, WP is PHP web application so to edit the WP you have to have knowledge in PHP & MYSQL...Photoshop (CS3 and higher) will convert your PSD file to XHTML, it will if you select the option give you a CSS as an inline CSS meaning within the XHTML file, because this takes some basic to intermediate Web Code Language skills: PHP, XHTML, CSS, and MYSQL. Simple outline of the process PSD>XHTML;CSS>PHP;MYSQL install theme work out bugs, viola! check this out for the basics it may help: Web Designer Wall as for software in away a suite of WAMP; Dreamweaver; & Photoshop will give you the tools to create anytype of webpage: WAMP will allow you to learn and edit php locally (from your computer) along with Mysql; Dreamweaver will allow you to edit your PSD XHTML file exports: However like #17 SampathW stated you have to do it manually I haven't found a PHP gnerator, or at least one worth a hoot....Good Luck and Great Question

no such thing as psd to wp, psd is a photoshop file structure written in pixels, WP is a content management app,
you will have to either find an app that converts your design to wordpress template or simply find a pre-written template and transfer over you colors, logo, headers, etc. to the template structure and make changes to the css to propagate your sites design.
