You can`t become a SEO expert fast.
Becoming a SEO expert involve experience, and experience involve time, years

@PoojaGee... I started out with the SEO Book from SEOBook.com. You can probably find a torrent of it somewhere for free.

I think it's a good idea to start with a more comprehensive book instead of just reading blog posts. The organization will make it much easier to understand the different concepts and each chapter builds on previous knowledge from the book.

 

There are lots of things or ideas to be needed for you to become expert in SEO field. It takes time mate. Lots to learn. Many SEO experts are doing their seo in many years of their experience.

Everybody has different approach and style to do the SEO ways.

Follow my 5 steps that will shoot you to the top of search engine traffic.

1) Content is King. Search engines love content, especially if it's unique. Build a quality website and become the authority on your niche. You will soon find the traffic flowing in and your servers will be bloating with bandwidth.

2) Size doesn't matter when it comes to backlinks. It's the quality of your backlinks that makes the difference. Within ONE week I achieved third place ranking on Google search for a popular keyword because I had five quality backlinks to authority sites. My competition had hundreds of backlinks to cheesy spam sites and couldn't even begin to touch my ranking.

3) Keep it clean. Google doesn't like it if you have links to adult websites or possibly questionable sources. It's important that you make sure that your link-network is clean and kosher. You can easily have your website filtered by the adult-filter if you don't watch your link-community.

4) Use images. Search engines love images that you have on your website that are relevant to the search topic. For instance if I'm advertising baseball gloves then I'll have all my images related to my website such as: black_baseball_glove or cheap_black_baseball_glove.

5) Wear the right hat for the moment. There is white hat, black hat, and grey hat. Be smart with the tactics that you use to advertise your website. The right hat can catapult you to the top; the wrong hat can have you banned from the SERPS forever. Be Smart.

i think work on few sites it will take some time to become seo expert there is no easy way to do that to become seo expert.

hmm, the question was about getting to expert, I dont really think this counts? I think even non-SEOs probably know this much.

buy some good ebooks, take printouts so that you can study them as books in your hands, make notes and points to grasp what they are saying. good luck.

 

One of the main things that would suggest is, target on your Homepage meta title the high volumes keywords, that you want to target. The Homepage is going to carry the most strength for the website so target the highest keywords and have the meta title upto 60 characters.

The simple way to become an expert is to go through all the threads and articles on DP as well on the net with discussions, so when you are learning something new, you also get to know which ones are contradictory methods. Make sure you subscribe to some of the high ranked and visited blogs and articles. Do this for a month and then start implementing those methods by creating a new domain, which will be from scratch.

I think this is the best suggestion anyone can give you, only then you will realise the value and integrity of an "SEO Expert"

Although many people have a good knowledge of search engines, obviously, they are not the experts because they need to try their best to keep pace with the update of search engines.

You're being VERY unrealistic if you think you can become an SEO expert fast. You might learn some VERY high level basic concepts fast, but becoming an SEO expert takes literally years of learning about it and actually applying what you've learned. Unfortunately, too many people think they can simply learn a few buzzwords, a few basic concepts, and declare themselves "experts" overnight. And it's those people who give the entire SEO industry a bad name.

Set realistic goals. Learning SEO is a long process... If you feel inclined to call yourself an "expert" at any point (even after many months and possibly years) then in all likelihood you are not. "Experts" never refer to themselves as "experts". They let their work speak for them to relay to others their level of competency.

 

1. Submit to many directories with various PR ratings...only higher PR's can get your sandboxed.
2. Write a few articles and submit them on various article sites.
3. Submit a press release
4. Advertise on blogs and forums.
5. Create a Facebook and Twitter site.
6. You can buy cheap traffic also...$10 - $20 for 10k - 50k hits, be careful who you work with however.
