I want to become domain reseller of godaddy. I want to start a website where users can self register new domain names. Is there any script to implement this feature in my site? Please help me on this topic.
after becoming reseller of godaddy you will get access to their turnkey website There is no need of any script there
GoDaddy reseller program is one of the easiest program to implement I've seen. And the price is not too high, since you've 3 options to choose.
there is a company called resellerclub, which is I believe an Indian company, and they have the best reseller plans than anyone else. I have heard that internet.bs is quite good too, but configuring their API is quite challenging
To become a GoDaddy reseller go here, www.wildwestdomains.com Once that you get into, they'll give you a custom, personl URL where everything is already setup, you can then customize the interface, some graphics, add text, modify prices, setup your own domain for such URL (depending on the chosen reseller package) and they also provide you with all the information and guidance you need to succeed with your service.
That's a good option, but your prices for resellers, are not soo lower that the prices for the end users ... And, by they way, does your system has a chance to work in other languages than english? Tks in advance.
Hello, Yes you may run your site in an other language too you have some promo prices, so for some TLDs the price is very low
Why pay to become a reseller? There are lots offering a free reseller hosting. I just signed up resellerspaneldotcom and I have my own reseller now. learnandhost.duoservers.com You can have it even without a domain name yet. You can be a reseller and an affiliate. Set your own prices and have double income opportunity. Goodluck!
I would go with reseller club instead since it is free and godaddy wants $100/year for a privilege to resell for them
RC only require $199 Usable Initial Deposit (you can use it to buy domains you are going to resell). But i don;t like to pay paypal fees twice and on the total amount. I would rather be paid commission only. Is it different at Godaddy?
OrderDN.com reseller offers $8.5 for .com with 0 initial deposit Resellerclub offers $8.38 for .com with $1499 initial deposit lol
yep, but the worst part *any* of those wholesale prices are higher than Godaddy's retail $5.92 (after discount+rebate) Plus with RC I get paid by customer I have to pay Paypal 3% +$.30. Then when I pay to RC they charge me Paypal 3%. So it is 6-7% of the whole domain price overhead. Is it the same with godaddy and other resellers or would they just pay you commission?
There is a module for WHMCS thats is for godaddy - WWD GoDaddy Domains for WHMCS ModulesGarden is the one that was selling it when I found it, $79 plus whatever WHMCS costs you to buy I don't use it or WHMCS myself so I couldn't tell you what its like or recommend it really. The Internet.bs one can be used with the boxbilling script, I installed that using softaculous on my cpanel account that is how I found out about them in the first place, boxbilling had someone else too on their free version script that I used and maybe more on their paid options, its the only script though I can find that deals with them so fair play to them for figuring out the API. I have also used NameCheap's API on another script I once used too, hostvise. The Internet.bs I think required some funds to be added in advance if I remember but the domains were cheap enough and you set the prices yourself on the boxbilling script for whatever you wanted. Plus the boxbilling with the internet.bs option were able to let the users look after and change their own nameservers etc as well as register the domain in their own name something I think that is important anyway. Can't remember if the namecheap / hostvise option let you do that but I don't think it did, really not sure on that anymore as its been awhile since I used it. It May also be different with other namecheap scripts I don't know but thats were I register most of my own domains through myself originally. Plus HostVise the billing script wasn't free either but it was cheap enough. I also once switched from resellersclub to resellercluster because they weren't looking for advanced funds a few years back for a hosting site I set up with their free turnkey options. Still keep it going with them as well as running my own. Plenty of options do exist and if your using a billing script alreadly you may as well search to see if any add-ons or modules etc exists for it. (Sorry didn't link to any of them because I am not sure if were allowed to do that on here or not?)
