I was given a database of over 1 million leads - all are optins from people who want information and advice on online business opportunities and were willing to have their email address shared with selected partners. Now I know that they haven't opt'ed into my own personal database - so please don't hammer me about spamming people. I am looking for creative methods that mean I can introduce these people to a double optin process - this way they can get something of great value & I can leverage the volume of details. Any suggestions on a process to use & in particular what autoresponder could handle the volume? Thanks Austrainer
Perhaps something like sendblaster.com could be useful for you. Havent tried it myself but i've seen some positive reviews.
Aweber has payment plans for different list sizes. It depends on the amount of return you expect from the list. But last time i checked their prices were very reasonable.
I cant really say if they will be useful try to get them into an e-mail list and see what the response is. expect a 1% or less conversion rate
Spamming random lists is not a good way to make money. You will NOT get a 1% response. More like a .001% response, if that. And that's if you don't get busted for sending illegal spam (which you will). Find another way to make money
Not a bad idea. Try the marketplace here at DP or something like shoemoney.com/market/ or any other forum with a marketplace/BST.
How targeted are the leads? Personally I'd send a few mailers directing them to a separate squeeze page with a free offer (that you created) and see how many you can get onto a SEPARATE list because it does no good having that many leads if they aren't responsive. That way, you'll have quite a bit of people subscribed to your new list that WILL be responsive as long as you make an effort to build a positive relationship with them.
Your initial contact with these people will be spam, no matter which software you use. The best way is to have your "friend" who gave you the list send an introduction to your newsletter and have the users decide to join with or not. You may have to pay the cost.
