My sister's Adsense application was disapproved, possibly coz of same mailing address

    Hi all DPers...

I have been using Adsense on my blogs for a few years now. I decided my sister who is in college should do a bit of blogging too. So, I set up a blog for her and use my adsense codes to monetize it.

Now, its been more than 6 months and her site http://www.architecture-student.com/ (Registered back in 2008) has been doing well. She wants her own adsense account.

So, I remove all the ads and apply for an account for my Sis. But it got disapproved... Google cites "Unacceptable site content".

At first I thought it was the WhoIs information of the domain that caused the problem. So, I changed the whois info and disabled privacy before resubmitting the application. Today, she got one more disapproval email from Google.

Now, what could be the problem? I am guessing its the same physical mailing address. If you guys have any ideas to help me in getting approved, please share.

    Cheers to the community... ;)

Dont you see adsense say it is "Unacceptable site content" which dont related to your mailing address
I suspect this is due to the Copyrighted Material

Same Mailing Address doesn't make any sense with the reply of Google.com. With the turning trends of Google for New Publisher they deeply anaylze the web content!
I guess that Google dont find your sister site search engine friendly

You are right. It is copyrighted content. It has MY copyright on it because I and my sister wrote all the articles. ;)

I have now resubmitted using my Office address. I hope it gets approved soon... :)

Most likely was the address that seemed fishy to them since you wrote all the articles.

The mailing address is the same as the one on my active adsense account. But its her website.

I don't know why Google says unacceptable content. The blog has 60+ original posts and a decent navigation.

Maybe I'll wait a month and then reapply.

I don't see any similarity between my post and the ones you have provided, except the topic.

The ads are from my account. I have a few websites of my own which are monetized by adsense. I need a separate account for my sister.

The best way to get approved in Google adsense is to setup a blog at blogger.com and add 5-10 unique articles then apply for adsense, they will approve it fast. I used this trick in past :)
