How to Get more and more Inorganic Traffic?

Hi guys, i hope you are doing well. My site is doing well with search engine traffic(Google).

I want to increase my traffic other than search engine. Is there any way to increase my inorganic traffic?

This is the first time I heard such a thing asked! Yes there is a lot you can do.

1. Forum posts with your signature.
2. Buy ad space on other websites.
Depending on the type of site you have:
3. Put an ad in the paper.
4. Buy some tv time.
5. Mail outs
6. The list goes on. Just think of what other companies do to advertise and get you to come in their store. Your store just happens to be a website.

Hi Isismedia, to get inorganic traffic, I recommend tou to join to any popular blog or website by making your domain as your username. For example make your username like Zhimzone.com. Based on my experience, it is a good way to generate inorganic traffic. But I don't think so that this way is a valit username for any website's membership.

 

Social Medias are the right choice to get inorganic traffic. You can use facebook,twitter, myspace and etc to get plenty of traffic to your site.

I use Forum Marketing And Blog Commenting (even if they are no-follow).

Search for forums in your related niche (either in google or big-boards.com) and join there.

First read the rules specially about signatures there and then start giving value to the forum. Participate, ask questions etc.

You will see that by giving value, people will begin to notice you. And you will get clicks to your website.

Also, search for blogs in your niche (do not worry whether they are do-follow or no-follow), you could use google blog search for that. And just post genuine comments after reading the article.

It all depends what is the monetization method of your website.
First, you need to answer that question yourself, then you got to decide which way to go, because if adsense or any other CPC based monetization you are using, then be careful with traffic other than organic, adsense dont like that kind of traffic very much, because through various methods you can digg a story and get to the frontpage of digg, but will those heavy traffic convert, depends, if you are promoting an affiliate program then that kind of traffic converts well.
So it all depends on what is the aim of your website.

if you could rank well in Search Engine why not try to build more SE traffic? It will be more helpful if you could get only SE traffic as this is the best benefit so, need not to find other source at all.

 

Yes I agree with you. If we want more traffict for our blog/site with the purpose of getting more clicks on the adsense links, it is better to do SEO technique as well. Because google adsense is 100% trusts on the organic visitors who click the adsense links. But, clicks that come through inorganic visitors, they will take some consideration to trust whether the clicks are valid or not. based on my experience, google adsense is very strict in dealing with the source of the clicks.

@isismedia... If you want to boost your social media type traffic you basically just got to put in the sweat equity: Tweet, post on forums like this, contribute to different blogs, set up a Facebook page. Basically just grind it out until people start noticing you.

Also, I would really consider having some sort of email capture/list builder on your site so you have a point of contact with people who do visit.
