Rules Random guy laves me a negative feedback!?!

I just watched at the bottom. A different mod comes on, reads the thread, leaves. Does nothing to fix the fake feedback left for damnidunno as best I can see.

Seriously mods? None of this embarrasses you guys? None of this makes you guys feel like that's a real credibility issue.

I love that all my sales listings now are going to need a disclaimer telling people to look at my feedback and see that the guy's a fucking nutjob.

He left me a negative iTrader because of a comment -- not a trade, because I never traded or PMed the loser before this -- I left in the middle of one of his Batman crusades against dropped domains.

And for the everyday user, be aware that the feedback system is essentially worthless. It's no better justice than counting the bodies at the end of a Wild West shootout.

Im not sure, but i dont think all moderators have the powers to edit itrader. maybe thats a global moderator, or admin job?

The problem is is that the seller forums on here are some of the reasons a majority of the members come here. We need our actual real itrader feedback. Without that this place wouldnt be the same, and would make it pointless.

They need some sort of moderator that handles the seller forums and itrader feedback.

im sure there are many people out there who understand the importance of itrader feedback, and wouldnt mind being inspector gadget on here.

Sorry about hijacking your thread. I only replied cuz i have the same issue, and the guy who gave me the false rating replied to yours acting like he was a good guy.

I wonder if the reason i got helped is because he also give a moderator false negative feedback?

I dunno, but i personally im'ed that moderator and asked her about it. maybe that helped to?

iTrader only? All DP looks like a huge unmoderated area lately, it's enough see all those domain for sale threads posted in the Domain Names forum, or those job-related requests or copyright issues in the Copywriting, just to name a few.

I got negative iTrader for stupid idiot peon yesterday...I have make an report to DP staff through my itrader page...I hope it will get good respond from them,because its really suck for my business here...

Sorry to say but this forum rule is suck! Somebody can terror other without action from the police (MOD/ADMIN).

I had report to MOD/ADMIN, but the idiot member who gave me bad itrader (in fact we never do trade before) still free as the MOD can do nothing.

Seriously. Take a look at a forum like AVSForum.com. It is possible to run a large, well-moderated, civilized forum without a bunch of scumbags and morons pissing on everything.

 

To be clear, a mod can move this thread, but they can't be bothered to deal with the issues many users are pissed about?

I think this thread belongs in the SALES forum. People selling should be fully informed about the bullshit level on this website. And particularly the abject unwillingess of the mods and owners to do anything about it.

Sadly I have to agree, the iTrader system being an unmoderated area is open to unmoderated fake iTraders, for example I recently conducted a trade with another user which went sour (I gave the buyer everything as per the thread and then the buyer did a chargeback via PayPal) so I left him a negative iTrader with the truth but the buyer then responded with a negative iTrader back with a complete and utter lie. I personally think that iTrader should be moderated where fake/false ratings are involved, I know it'd be hard and a long process for the mods to complete, but it'll be worthwhile in the end.

Just my 2 cents.

 

Of course it should be moderated, but the mods don't have the time to do this... They're busy keeping everything else clean. I do, however, believe that if you can provide significant proof, a mod should at least review your argument.

 

I can understand the problems that the mods face with all the he said she said business, the mods on this site are not paid and the extra work load would be high.
With that in mind, why couldn’t we have a subscription base fee where we can pay to have a deal moderated? I’m sure Shawn could find people to moderate deals if there were paid to do so.

Another idea would be to allow Itraders to be edited by user for a longer time scale, sometimes people can be too quick to leave feedback.

A feedback system is only as good as its data. Why even have one if you're not going to do anything to ensure its veracity?

At that point, you're just lying to new users.

 

The Alexa rank of this site would be significantly lower if they tossed all the retards off here. Gee, makes you think that's why the owners are so pro-retard.

 

Due to almost all the members here coming there to buy/sell/trade, the itrader feedback system is the most important feature on the site.

It's starting to become really unreliable, and BS, which makes coming here to sell/buy/trade pointless.

I think this forum will start to die if the staff don't start showing the itrader system more attention and respect. Just getting my one false negative itrader (which a moderator eventually removed for me, thank god), kinda made me wanna stop coming here again.
