when I compare our webmaster tools and google analytics sometimes it is a little off but not by too much. We use google analytics on all of our projects and have been happy with results. Our clients like the fact it comes from Google and not another company they haven't heard about.. anyone else??
I think google analytics is good enough for most cases. The traffic seems to be tracked wisely and it does keep track of many things its hard to tell (like referral for clicks). So yes, I think its quite a good program! -DarkMimbi
one thing i've noticed is that clicks per adwords account is always higher than google cpc clicks per analytics account, i'm sure there's a good reason for it, but i just don't know it yet!
Google analytic reports it all rightly while others don't... So usually u see the count to be lesser than others
thanks for all the posts i did not know i would get many replies to this thread. Now just think if google is not giving acurate results what about adsense are these being tracked correct i know its a different system all togeather but it sure does make me think........
google analytics has the best and very accurate results, it will filter all your useless traffic, and tells you about your real visitors. don't worry abt ur traffic.
None of the tool is 100% accurate and even google is also saying this statement but still google analytics is giving almost 90 - 99% accuracy as my experience, which is much better than other free tools present in the market.
No its not accurate as they try to cut out the bad traffic but also cuts out some of the good traffic. You would be getting more visitors than google says
I am planning to install Google analytic to my wordpress, however I dont know how. Maybe you can help me guys and also I would be needing your expert advises what other tools I can add to check on the stats and traffics of my website. Thanks
I use google analytics but the only problem i have is that i couldnt see the current stats. You have to wait next day to see what your stats for today.
Yes. wordpress plugin works for this. Or, you can directly placing he Google Analytic code provided by Google into you Wordpress Blog>>Appereance>>Edit>>Footer area just before the "/body>
Not all wordpress templates lets you edit the footer through the admin section this all depends. But you can always go into the code and find footer.php
i do'nt know exactly, i'm newbie, I must still learn a lot more from others about google and google products,,
