If so, how do you do it? I try to drive quality traffic to one of my sites. And i decided to try facebook. I never tried to get any customers from facebook before. And i'd like to know if somebody make money from facebook's traffic.

yeah totally!! but you have to get a good name for yourself by posting good stuff that helps people.
then when you offer them your product, they will trust your recommendation. I like facebook.. that
and twitter are the best social networks for me.

Unfortunately not. I'm sure its possible but it didnt work out for me. Keeping up a FB profile with good content steals too much of my time.

With the development of social media network, more and more online marketers are trying to promote their products with social media sites.
Among all social media sites, Facebook is the most popular one. So, if you can spend much time on marketing your products there, you will gain as many as customers sooner or later.

I think voting competitions are quite good, particularly if you link it to liking

I've been thinking about using facebook, but worried about the market. My guess is that its more popular with the younger generation (ie. those who are less likely to spend money online), so may depend on who your target market is, and what your product is.

I Personally haven't heard that many FB success stories as yet, anyone have any they want to share?

The FB market is certainly skewed towards the younger segment, but I'm currently involved with a voting competition, via facebook, and it certainly seems to be raising brand awareness for the company, to the point where I'm now investigation how I can implement it in my business.

I also agree that Twitter is better purely because it is not so time-consuming to maintain.

Makes me think of my 5,400 fans on MySpace with low results but I believe i will see better results on Facebook. Best thing to remember, don't just try to be everybody friend because everybody is not your customer. Post relevant solid content and the rest should take care of itself.

I know a venue where you get customers from all around the world. The customers are big players, and they are smart. Price is $10 for directions pointers. PM me if you are serious and looking for big customers.

I have a facebook page for my site. Not my most major traffic source but its still good to have. I made the mistake before in inviting all of my friends to the page but all it did in the longrun was give me a false statistic. Being that most of theses people were only joining to join and did not engage in the content I had to offer from my site. So make sure to gather followers who are interested in the site and its services.
