I have a website selling good and cheap bags[/URL].All our products are of top quality with a low price. And we have a good place on google and yahoo.but we don't have many costomers.I don't know why.
Whether the keywords in which you are in top are searchable one. Whether it has a fine global search volume.
Does your site look trustworthy? Do you accept the most popular payment methods for your country? There could be lots of reasons why people aren't buying - it's hard to say without seeing the site.
have you tried getting feedback from clients you have had before? try posting some testimonials they had to the pages.
This means you are not targeting people interested in your product. Do a research to find your target market and promote your products to them.
Try offering a BOGO discount (buy one get one); it doesn't necessarily about to be get one free. It could be get one 20% off.
Also the stats reports can tell you more info on like where most of the traffic is coming from. Maybe you most of your traffic is out of the country thats why you are doing well
i agree with fivewarp, maybe the traffic comes from non-targeted customer. If u are selling the product for the local only, you should do what fivewarp have suggested
Do one thing, Make some giveaways, some contests, and make some attractive things to make people give attention to your site. Once it is popular people automatically come to your pages. This may help your sales further...
it is a long way, you need time. just do it, send more mail to your potential customers, never waiting customer!
Okay, despite what everyone says, there are 3 crucial factors in selling products online. 1) Are you getting traffic? If there are barely anyone visiting your website, obviously your sales are low. 2) Are you getting quality traffic? If the people visiting your website aren't even interested in purchasing bags, you're just wasting your time getting them to visit your website! 3) Did you research your competitors? They might be offering better quality at a lower price. OR their website strategy has a higher conversion rate. In any case, think about those 3 factors.
