Also target on keywords that have decent monthly search volume and less competition at the beginning if you are on tight budget for SEO, since your niche is very competitive.
Howdy folks, can someone far more knowledgeable than I help me understand the difference please between Googles "Search-Based Keyword Tool" and the "Adwords Keyword Tool". Yes I have done the endless hours reading up on both, read Googles own help article on the difference between both, and even used both for a while now. BUT! I still don't get it. Example: I'm looking to Optimise a site for a particular term (in Ireland) called "Floor Screed". I have a Google account and when logged into AdWords Keyword Tool, I get 18,100 global and 720 local monthly searches, yet when I check via the Search-Based Keyword tool I get a Local monthly of a mere 82 searches! Both accounts are logged in correctly as English>>Ireland for the location. I just don't get it. Yes Ive read up and expect variances but thats just too big leading me to question, ultimately which tool should become my reference point for implementation of results to my site? All help, advice and even put-downs appreciated
