Bing adds 3 new features to Maps :

The Distance Calculator Map App will generate the distance between two places on the map.

The Gas Prices Map App is pretty self-explanatory – it provides you with gas prices within a 5 mile radius of where you’re searching.

The Parking Finder Map App helps users find a place to park their car.

There're a lot of places don't have on Bing Maps than Google Maps..

I still love Google Maps for direction :)

But hopefully Bing Maps can be a good competitor to Google Maps, it's not just a copy cat product

There is no doubt that Google Map rules the world of maps. However, we also can't deny the fact that Bing goes second and I think Microsoft's Bing is producing more tools to help millions of its users. Actually, Bing has done quite well out of the gate, gaining 3% market share in June 2009.
