I really need tips. Please, review http://naijatopjob.blogspot.com/. I'd really love your honest criticisms. Thanks
Ok first of all, don't panic about what you perceive your PR to be, Google only updates this about once per quarter. Second, if you are interested in learning about SEO, read the posts in this forum, and read the Google guidlines, and this; http://www.rlrouse.com/SEO.html. As for the website, it pretty much looks as good as you can get a blogspot website. It is hard to see what it is you are actually "selling" and apart from some interesting articles, is it hard to see what would compell people to spend time browsing around your website.
Alll, All in All, What matter at the end is your SERPS and Not the PR. But still, Try Getting BAcklinks from Relevant blogs and sites... You will increase your PR then . It Doesnt update Daily anyway Once in a Quarter Thanks.
It's got good content, but I suggest you change the header graphic for one. It takes a little time to understand what the site is about. A simple title like "Find A Job In Nigeria" and then add something like "How To Find Jobs in Nigeria & How to Prepare For Interviews And More!" Just a little advice.. might get people to stay on your site a bit longer and look around. Stuart
NIce blog bro i like the content is very nice and structured also i think add some backlinks to it and ur PR will rise. Thanks
Stuart, I've changed the header, do you think it's ok? Link again is http://naijatopjob.blogspot.com/
That guy in header seems too unnatural. Too obvious that he was added there with simple cut, crop and paste. Make the edges of his jacket more smooth.
I don't think the header is that bad. The pics however in the footer are heavily pixelated. This is usually caused by enlarging small files of the pics. You obviously have a larger version of the one of the guy, as he's in the header, so use the large pic and resize down. Never resize up - you will always lose quality, unless it is a vector image (photos are never vector unless treated and made into posterization pics, aka 'pop art' pics).
