Contest $30 Banner/Logo Contest - Paypal Payment - Healthy Food Delivery Service

We are looking for a new logo and banner for our website. We have decided to hold a contest to view multiple concepts from as many contributors as possible.

Old logo:


Prefer the lighter green and addition of yellow on this one, but overall it needs some design work. No flow...

Current Logo:


Better flow, too dark. Like the partial yin-yang, but think if used, it should be reversed and the dividing line flow into the word art. I just think it would flow better. Do NOT like cartoon/clip-art chef hat. Needs to be wider overall.

Symbols: We would like to use some form symmetric geometry, most likely, the circle. Something incorporating the clever use of circle or interlocking circles forming a single ring or orb. The partial yin-yang is OK, but maybe you can come up with something better. For our purposes the circle will represent the WHOLE HEALTHY SELF, balance, etc..

COLORS: Spring/Summer (Green, yellow, orange, white)

CPT - I like the delivery guy. Colors are too dark/bold. (Summer/Spring colors - greens, yellows, oranges, white, etc) Font MAY be too strong, I would like to see another revision.

Tajio - I like the colors, but the overall look is too plain. I like the fact that you incorporated a circle, but don't care for the design. Font - not bold enough.

umxca - Interesting concept. I like that you captured the delivery aspect, and it is a completely different idea. I really like it, but feel that it can be punched up a bit.
I like the font, but not sold on it. I had specified to a couple of people via PM to NOT use black too predominantly anywhere, but it looks good with that font. I'd like to see this concept with some different styling. Maybe play with the font and word shading? Or just feel free to submit any other concepts you may have.

Dakouten - I can't say that anything about this concept grabs my attention. It's nice, but too bland. I certainly invite you to submit a new idea.

To All Contestants

I'm not sold on the Chef's Hat in any way. This is a Health Food and Vegetarian prepared meal delivery site. I invite any completely new concepts. Key on Health, Vegetables, Delivery, or Chef/Preparation ideas, or get crazy and mix them up.

Looking for fun ideas or very clean corporate ideas.

The current logo is too dark, and generally needs improved. The old loge blends better, but it is just lacking any real style.

Can you come up with something better?

I will look at a lighter shade along with some different fonts as well and some different effects...thx

I have yet to see any designs or concepts that use circle or rings in any symbolic manner, although I have seen a creative use for an "O" as a tire. Kind of cool.

The client had requested of me to have something created utilizing a symmetric geometry. My idea was the Circle representing the WHOLE BALANCED SELF. That is how the previous designer keyed on the yin-yang/pepsi symbol, I imagine...

I would like to see some concepts utilizing geometry to represent balance. My ideas keep coming back to 3 different colored rings, closely intertwined, representing BODY, MIND, SPIRIT... but that's just what keeps popping into my mind. Any balanced geometry ideas are welcome.

It can be the main focus or a minor detail. In the foreground, background or border.

UMXCA - Thanks, I'm not sure which font I like best, but now I have an idea of how it looks now with different shading. I should have specified after your first submission, HealthSavor should have no space, but not a big deal. I know its a non issue fix. I'll get back to you with more feedback for a revision if the client bites.

I really like this design, it's fun. I would like to see something more done with the text. Maybe play with more dramatic shading, steeper gradient to a lighter color, or add texture? I kind of like the sponge painting looking texture of the trees above your Daike Design. Anyway, I'm not sure but if you could make the text a little more exciting somehow, that would be awesome...
